…My First Flight…
My stomach started to turn; I don’t think this is such a good idea mum. Don’t be silly she said, it’s only a plane. One step after another, my stomach started to turn more and more and more until, I reached the stairs. My feet wouldn’t let me move, so I pulled myself up the stairs. Up and up and up I went till I reached the top.

Its engines roared so loud my ears nearly burst. Its wheels started rolling faster and faster. As I hung on for dear life, the screech of its wheels was gone. We were finally in the air, soaring high above the clouds, constantly gliding up and down due to turbulence. Bored out of my mind, I decided to look out the window. It was pitch black, and when I say pitch black I mean pitch black. An announcement came over the intercom to say breakfast was going to be served. It was either fruit or a cuppa tea. Of course, what kid would want tea, and so I got some fruit. It was dry and sour and disgustingly yuck.

Down we went, plunging into darkness of the clouds. Again, its engines roared like a Space craft at lift off. Lights from the city got brighter, and bigger every minute. Then SUDDENLY, a loud screech came upon me. I’d Made It, I’d Made It!
